UTILITY ASSISTANCE

     The Anson Crisis Ministry can assist with water, gas or electricity bills. We also purchase kerosene for clients.
     Clients should bring their delinquent bill to the director.
     The amount we can pay depends on the funds available at the time of the request. You will be asked to help pay some of your delinquent electricity so you should be prepared.
We do not pay rent or make house payments.
We do not pay deposits to have your utilities turned on for the first time.
We do not pay telephone bills.

MEDICATION ASSISTANCE

     The ministry has a small amount of funds designated to assist clients in the purchase of medications. Only clients with NO MEDICAID are eligible for this service.
     The amount of assistance depends on the amount of funds available at the time of the request. Clients should bring a copy of their prescriptions along with the price of the medications from their pharmacy to the ministry and speak with the Director.
