DONATIONS

     The Anson Crisis Ministry will accept almost anything you would like to donate. Clothing, shoes, purses, toys, books, personal grooming items, bed linens, pots and pans, lamps, televisions, toasters, coffeemakers, mattresses, box springs, coffee tables, dining room tables and chairs, end tables, desks, washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, towels, curtains, sofas, loveseats, odd chairs, ottomans, baby cribs, toddler beds, bed frames and rails, mixers, can openers, blenders, and of course all those items too numerous to mention. All items donated to the Crisis Ministry are tax-deductible and a receipt is available upon request.
     All donated furniture is distributed to those most in need. During the spring and summer months, furniture is somewhat more accessible to clients because of the season. During fall and winter months, furniture is usually held for fire victims. Domestic violence victims and grandmothers or guardians are top priority all year.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

     Personally:
Donate items to the Anson Crisis Ministry.
Add Anson Crisis Ministry to your personal budget.
Collect a particular type of food each month and donate (use the ACM as a family mission project).
Volunteer a few hours a week or month at the ACM.
Participate in the Christmas Stocking project; teach your children how to help others in need.
Offer to drive to the Wingate Food Lion and pick up our daily food.
Donate your leftover yard sale items to the ACM.

     Churches/Businesses
Encourage your Sunday School class or church to financially support the ACM each month.
Challenge your business associates to collect a food item and donate to the ACM.
Join together as a group and sponsor a child at Christmas.
